A Brit filmakadémiát, azaz a Baftát az Oscar másik legfontosabb előjátékának nevezik a Golden Globe mellett. Ha valaki itt nyer, az nagy lélektani súlyt könnyíthet magán ha jelölve van az Oscaron. Csak vigyázni kell, nehogy aztán túl nagy legyen az önbizalom, és később nagyott koppanjon az egész.
